Im new to the area and hope that people respond to this thread. I'm interested in finding out where the local raft-up destinations are so i can experience them as well.
Three roker or the north bar in north or south of anclote
Yea 3 Rooker is the place now that the bird people took Shell Key from us. You won't find many people out until this place warms up though and turns back into Florida :-) Its a little bit of a haul to get up there. I'm looking forward to the Bellair ramp re-opening this year because that was my favorite ramp from where I am.

There are people that hang out in John's Pass but the bottom there is pretty silty and brown.

Another spot is the north side of Ft Desoto between Ft Desoto and Shell Key. Drinking is allowed in the water there. And dont forget about Egmont Key on a flat day can be very nice but no beach access.
I believe the ramp opened up late last year. I am in that area and see activity at the ramp.
I would be going to the island on a Sunday end of March. Are there people there
Hey Thanks for the info... i suppose the best days for raft-up are on the weekends
hope to see you there sometime
Caladesi, Honeymoon, Anclote, and lots of spoil islands along the way.
