I am new to the area and would like to boat tomorrow around Clearwater. I been told there are some nice looking island around the area.

Could someone tell me what are the options and what boat ramps are nearby.

I am from Orlando and exploring the posibilities of moving into the area.

Thanks in advance.

Becky Rosenberg states "Caladesi Island State park is nice....depending on the draft of your boat it can be difficult to get into at low tide. They have a snack bar, nice beach, nice dockage and big turtles!! I'm not sure how to get there, you will have to ask, but we are docked at the Clearwater Beach City Marina and it was close!!!"

Mike Robinson said "just north of caladesi is a sandbar on its own, even nicer and less crowded, great channel runs thru middle , u can float on a tube like a rollercoaster thru it, less than a mile give or take further up from caladesi"
Use Seminole St. launch ramp (and the end of Seminole St.) then head north or south, plenty of islands everywhere. Clearwater Beach is fun to explore. Head north to Caladesi, Honeymoon, Anclote, and lots of spoil islands along the way. Grab a chart and check out Honeymoon Pass with Dog Beach on the north and a popular sandy bar to the south. Three Rooker Bar east side is a very popular anchoring spot. Maybe we'll see you out there.
